Baltimore — (TFN): As part of the 822-page energy bill, 100-watt incandescent bulbs will be banned by 2012, making way for bulbs that use 25% to 30% less energy. It’s a move that’ll cut consumer electricity use by 60% and lop an estimated annual $18 billion off U.S. electric bills. One company set to prosper is Cree Inc. Ian Cooper of SC Trading Pit explains.
