Investing in Technology: The best of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas

Baltimore — (TFN): 2,700 plus companies introduce more than 20,000 new products in 1.85 million net square feet of floor space at the Consumer Electronics Show. That being said, this year CES showed no signs of slowdown in the tech sector. With many areas such as cell phones and mp3 players trying to go smaller and smaller, many companies were taking televisions to previously unthought-of sizes. Panasonic revealed plans to dramatically enlarge production facilities in Japan to accommodate the production of the world’s largest plasma television. Others were focusing on picture quality and clarity. Sony, for instance, introduced their new Organic LED television sets.
