TFN Reader Grapevine: Looking at penny stocks MLKNA, ENLU and SPNG

Today's Financial News - Posted June 12, 2009

TFN eNews reader C.D. thinks penny stocks MedLink International Inc. (OTC:MLKNA), Enerlume Energy Management Corp. (OTC:ENLU) and Spongetech Delivery Systems, Inc. (OTC:SPNG) are about to pop. See what YOU think…

Baltimore (TFN): If you’re a regular reader of TFN, you know we’ve begun posting some of the tips we get from readers. These companies are often the tiniest of volatile penny stocks and are therefore, not something we’d typically recommend.

Now, that being said, we recognize that maybe these folks indeed know something we — and Wall Street — don’t.

As these are not official TFN picks — the impetus for research is on you!

Here’s what’s come down the grapevine today from TFN reader C.D.:

MedLink International Inc. (OTC:MLKNA): Medlink creates software solutions for healthcare providers. This is one of the industry niches we’ve discussed at TFN as having potential and this company does seem to be rounding up affiliates. Worth taking a look at, I’d say. Shares are currently trading around 64 cents.

Enerlume Energy Management Corp. (OTC:ENLU): This company supplies energy saving solutions through products and management services. We were just debating the prospects for these types of providers here at TFN. I think they could be solid plays, Andrew Snyder pooh-poohs them. We’d love to hear your thoughts. BTW, shares of this stock would set you back about 28 cents each.

Spongetech Delivery Systems, Inc. (OTC:SPNG): A quick look at this maker of high-tech sponges shows that they just announced $6.4 million in sales for the month of June. Not bad for a company with a market cap of just over $129 million. It’s share price? Around 18 cents.

Many thanks, C.D.!
