Good third quarter financial results gives Sun Healthcare over 10% gains in one day.

Baltimore (TFN): The market appreciates those companies that managed to eek out a profit in the last 3 months.

As I anticipated in my Oct. 24 Editor’s PIC, shares of Sun Healthcare Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SUNH) have gone up nicely with the announcement of the company’s Q3 financial results.

Income from continuing operations of $9.4 million which is up 45.3% from the same period in 2007. Total net revenue increased 5.6% from last year to come in at $456.7 million — higher than many analysts predicted.

If you got in on Oct. 24, you’re looking at gains of over 16% in just 10 days. Let’s take them!
