J. Christoph Amberger has a revelation? April Fool’s!

Welcome to Amberger SmackUP on TodaysFinancialNews.com. I’m J. Christoph Amberger.
 
I have had an epiphany. I am, at heart, a liberal.

I have come to terms with the concept that more taxes create a better society. Got a crime  problem in your city? Cough up those dollars and help pay for those additional police! Just like in Iraq – all that money will pay off SOMEDAY.

And why shouldn’t the rich pay more than their share? It’s not like their family will GO
HUNGRY or anything. One less Hummer in their lives won’t hurt – as a matter of fact, it will help the environment!

See, I’m even thinking green.

And universal healthcare? Great idea! Yes, there may be a slight reduction in the quality of service, but at least not just the few will have the opportunity to get decent treatment.

Why not universal education, while we’re at it? I know I benefited from it as a young lad back in Germany. We need to follow in the footsteps of Europe whenever possible, I say! Why did I ever leave that hallowed continent, come to think of it?

More government intervention is what this country needs. Heck, it worked for Bear
Stearns!

Now I just can’t decide between Hillary or Barrack. They are both so… well… open to
new ideas… to CHANGE and what’s the word? Ah yes… HOPE. It’s in the air. And I, for
one, feel positively revitalized.

Having experienced the Clinton presidency (I like to call him “Brother Bill”), I look forward to another Democrat in office.

It’s not like another Republican president could improve the economy at this point. After this president, another conservative could make it worse.

And with a Democrat back in office, things like coal plant emissions will be under control – it will be safe to eat tuna again.

Clinton and Obama… they’re both the delicious candy center of the Tootsie Roll Pop, and we’ve finally broken through the hard Republican sucker shell to reach them.

So, full of hope and hopeful of change, I look brightly towards our fair future. Oh! I’m late for a war protest rally… Peace out!
