A Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Baltimore — (TFN): January 1 marks a special event for us. TodaysFinancialNews.com is now no longer an appendage to an existing publishing company — we started as the multi-media branch of the Taipan Group — but a completely independent business: TodaysFinancialNews.com LLC.

This has opened up our horizons of coverage immensely! We're now able to call on the contacts, resources and experts we have developed in over 20 years of financial publishing and present their unique perspective, assessment and analysis without the narrow restrictions of a publisher's "franchise". 

You may have noticed the results over the past couple of weeks: We've had Mount Vernon Publishing's Karim Rahemtulla on, Oxford Club's Martin Hutchinson and Lou Basenese, Agora Inc. chairman and bestselling financial author Bill Bonner, as well as Angel Publishing's Jeff Siegel, Ian Cooper, and Nick Hodge. But that's just the beginning. We're currently building a studio in our new office building and will be bringing you a whole new line-up of multi-media content and commentary ever day. Former Value Edge and Volume Spike Alert trader Andrew Snyder will take on our trading contest site, stockonomist.com. And volatility trader Ian Cooper, now with Angel Publishing, will regularly cover the stock market buzz.
