Steve McDonald explains how to play the global markets.
By Steve McDonald
Baltimore — (TFN): I know I have been pounding the drum for international and global investing for the past six months, but very good reasons. Consider this:
Every 22 days a new company, outside the US, generates 1 billions dollars in sales.
60 % of all growth in the world is outside the US. Growth in developing nations is two times greater than that of the developed nations like the US or Japan. China’s manufacturing base has increased by 100 times over the last decade.
Forbes says about the international and global markets, “you can’t afford to wait any longer.”
So, when I tell you to be in on the global boom, I’m not exaggerating. That’s why we are looking at the best global newsletter in the US.
The Money Map Report is the leading US newsletter on global investing. It is produced by Monument Street Publishing and is staffed by the best group of contributors I have seen in my 25 years in the markets.
What I like most about the MMR is that the editors all come from the real world of international finance, not from ivory towers.
Martin Hutchinson has held senior management positions with companies and banks from Spain to Korea and has worked almost exclusively in the international markets.
He was the US Treasury Advisor to Croatia and was directly responsible for the set up of their Gov bond program.
Martin was also the Business and Economic Editor for UPI .
Horacio Marquez, who most of you should know by now, has also spent his professional career in international finance that has included Merrill Lynch emerging debt, Barclays, Swiss Bank and First National of Boston.
Keith Fitzgerald is a 25-year veteran of the global markets and specializes in Asia.
He is the founder of an Austrian think tank, The Kenos circle and is one of the best-regarded analysts in the business.
He accurately predicted the current oil prices when oil was $20 per barrel. And also predicted the 2000 collapse of the stock market and the 2003 recovery.
He is the editor of the New China Trader and contributor to MMR and Money Morning.
But the proof is in results. In ’07 when the most of the markets were tanking, the MMR made 22% per play. While that might not seem earth shattering, when you look at what the US markets have been doing, it’s fabulous.
This is the best buy out there for top shelf information. It is only $49.50 per year for the inside track on the best the world of money has to offer.
When you consider the caliber of the people who contribute to the MMR, 49.50 is almost ridiculous.
If you can find a better-qualified group of global investment gurus, buy it. But, I am very confidant you cannot.
