Time to buy this beaten-down retailer

Baltimore — (TFN): Chico’s FAS, Inc. is a specialty retailer with over 1,000 stores in the U.S. Besides Chico’s, the company operates stores under the names White House | Black Market and Soma Intimates.
Though seeing losses like the rest of the sector, Chico’s FAS is in a better position than most as we approach the holiday season.
Net income was down 77% for the first two quarters of 2008 (ending August 2) when compared to the first half of fiscal 2007.
But with a P/E of 16.75 and a PEG of 1.74, this seems a good time to get in.
I recommend you buy shares of Chico’s FAS, Inc. (CHS:NYSE) at or under $5.40.
