TFN Editor’s PIC: Pizza Inn (PZZI)
Posted July 28, 2008
Texas-based Pizza Inn, Inc. and its subsidiaries account for over 350 restaurants – 67 of them outside of the U.S.
As you know, we like to make our Editor’s PIC’s down and dirty, so here’s a quick look at what I like about this company:
· For the last five quarters, it’s enjoyed positive same store sales growth.
· It’s just extended its stock repurchase plan, begun in 2007, by another 1 million bucks.
· It’s moving into Southeast Asia – starting with a development agreement for 35 units in Bangladesh.
· And best of all… its insiders purchased 64,000 shares at current levels in June.
It would seem that something very good is on the horizon.
I recommend you buy shares of Pizza Inn, Inc. (PZZI:NASDAQ) at or under $2.75.
